When my father was diagnosed with cancer, that was a wake-up call for me, one that really opened my eyes to the world of caregiving.
-Bradley Cooper
Care Out Loud is powered by One Family Foundation, a nonprofit founded by actor, director, producer, and writer Bradley Cooper in honor of his late father, who passed away from lung cancer.
Bradley was his father's primary caregiver, so he faced the emotional weight of role-reversal, the battling of the healthcare maze, and the challenge of meeting daily needs. And even with support and resources around him, he realized just how overwhelming and isolating caregiving can be.
That experience shaped the mission of One Family Foundation. And it's why Care Out Loud exists today: to make caregiving less invisible, easier to navigate and impossible to ignore.
